What's an on-chain voucher?

Azteco offers two kinds of bitcoin vouchers:

a lightning voucher; and
an on-chain voucher

An Azteco on-chain voucher uses the Main Bitcoin Network to transfer your bitcoin.

On-chain transactions can take several minutes to complete and network processing fees can cost several dollars.
On-chain transactions are slower and more expensive than lightning transactions. However, not all bitcoin wallets support lightning transactions today. See our list of suggested bitcoin wallets for more details.

To redeem an Azteco on-chain voucher, you need to:

Visit azte.co
Enter your 16-digit voucher code.
Enter your bitcoin address to receive your bitcoin.
